what good leadership?

I away for a while, partly due to a ‘leadership and managment’ intensive at Ridley college and partly because of life with a family being hectic.

The highlights of the Leadership course have left me reflecting on how to lead in a group where all participants are sinful and self centred, and are often unaware of this face themselves (or how it can play out).

Part of the course was gaining an appreciation of the natural power games that go on in groups of people and how you can get around them and work together. Part of the problem is that even the leader is sinful and so it is useful to be able to see sin in yourself.

It was a great course and well worth a week, now I have to find about 6000 words more on the topic.

Thinking of leadership, what do you think makes a leader that is truly good?
